After landing in Hanoi, we did what any food lover would do – went straight to find amazing food!
Our hotel receptionist recommended Banh My Mama and it was the perfect re-introduction to Vietnamese flavors.
What I loved about this Banh Mi was how light it felt despite being a full sandwich. The French baguette met Vietnamese ingredients in the most perfect way – crispy bread, fresh herbs, and flavors that just worked together beautifully.
Then we discovered Tornado Coffee right near our hotel. I had to try the famous Vietnamese egg coffee and wow – it was like drinking a creamy dessert!
The manager was so sweet, she actually showed me their entire coffee-making process.
There was something magical about those first few hours in a new place when everything tasted like an adventure. Hanoi had my heart from day one! ❤️
